Commercial Awning Structures

FabriTec Structures designs and builds commercial tensile membrane awning structures. Inspired by the 19th century awnings that lined Main Street USA’s storefronts, hotels, and restaurants, our awning structures are the next step in the evolution of the form. FabriTec’s 21st century awnings feature progressive design concepts and advanced materials like ETFE, PTFE, and PVC membranes. Our unique designs blur the lines between traditional awnings and contemporary tensile membrane structures.

Awnings provide shade for windows, UV protection for storefront displays, act as a wind break, provide protection from rain or snow, and reduce thermal heat transfer. Lab tests show that awnings can reduce the temperature as much as 20 degrees in their coverage area. Our advanced awnings are low maintenance, provide abundant amounts of filtered daylight, and are sustainable.
